How to install IRP1-STF01 Rear Expansion Standoff Kit ?
The IRP1-STF01 utilizes the existing 9x9 square holes in the DIN Rail panel for mounting. It can be installed in these holes without interfering with the front-mounted DIN Rail. The 10-32 M-F hex standoff provides sufficient clearance for the installation of an additional DIN Rail. Once in place, the standoff allows for the attachment of an additional DIN Rail or a PVC wire duct at the desired position.
When to use the IRP1-STF01 Rear Expansion Standoff Kit
In situations where the rear side of a DIN Rail panel is needed to install an additional DIN Rail or PVC wire duct, and the panel does not support IRP1-CBN rear mount expansion brackets, the IRP1-STF01 standoff kit is required. The IRP1-STF01 utilizes the existing 9x9 square holes in the DIN Rail panel to install a 10-32 M-F hex standoff, which raises the DIN Rail by 7/16 inch to clear M4 PEM nuts on the panel. Each kit allows for the installation of one DIN Rail or PVC wire duct.
Difference Between IRP1-CNB and IRP1-STF01
The IRP1-CNB is a specialized bracket for mounting on the rear side of the DIN Rail panel without interfering with the front-side installation. It allows more flexible positioning of DIN Rails or PVC ducts at any rear-side location. In contrast, the IRP1-STF01’s mounting position depends on the front-side layout. If a DIN Rail is already installed in the desired rear location, the IRP1-STF01 may require shifting the standoff up or down to avoid interference. Otherwise, both kits provide similar functionality for rear-side DIN Rail installation.
Difference Between IRP1-STF01 and IRP1-STF02
While both offer similar functionality, the IRP1-STF02 relies on the existing M4 PEM nuts on the DIN Rail panel for mounting, using longer M4 screws. Unlike the IRP1-STF01, it cannot be installed directly into the 9x9 square holes, limiting its mounting positions to where M4 PEM nuts are available.
