Need a bracket ?
If your 4U servers, routers, switches or enclosures do not include a rear support bracket, and the enclosures have mounting holes located at side you may be able to use our RCB1067S-4 for cener and rear mount support. The RCB1067S-4 is designed to provide additional support for the rear of a 4U server when mounted in a rack. This rear support bracket helps distribute the weight of the server more evenly, reducing strain on the front mounting ears, particularly in cases where the server is heavy or the rack is subject to vibrations or movement.
Not just for rear support
The RCB1067S-4 features a 4x2 formation of screw mounting slots for 4U rackmount servers, routers, or switches. This 4x2 oblong slot configuration provides customers with greater flexibility in choosing mounting points. Since there is no standard for mounting hole positions, you may need to drill screw mounting holes to properly secure the RCB1067S-4 brackets. In addition to being used as rear mount support, these brackets can also be used as center mount brackets.
Versatility
Server cabinets and equipment often come in various designs, and it’s possible that your new equipment may be wider or narrower than the cabinet opening. Since adjusting the width of the cabinet or modifying the width of the new rack equipment is not feasible, the RCB1065S-4 offers a solution with its OB holes design. The OB holes at the front allow you to make minor adjustments of up to 0.28 inches. The maximum equipment width for a 19-inch cabinet is 17.594 inches. You can also use the RCB1067L-4 in 23-inch and 24-inch cabinets.
