What makes DR4 rackmount keyboard different ?

DR4 Rackmount keyboard is a 1U low-profile keyboard designed for data center and industrial application to be installed in a rackmount server cabinet. The key differences between using standard keyboard and rackmount keyboard are cable organization, safety and access protection.

Convenient design

DR4-TB-BK2 improved accessibility by makes it easy to access the keyboard even in a fully populated rack. The slide out tray design makes it easy to access the keyboard and provide improved ergonomics. The built in metal stop tab feature on the slide rail locks keyboard in place while in use. This provides a stable working platform for operator. Pressing the stop tab unlocks the keyboard to slide back to closed position.

Enhanced Security and safety

DR4 Rackmount keyboard include an integrated keylock. DR4 Keyboard can be locked in place with a key to prevent unauthorized access to your computer system. In addition, the lock also keeps keyboard tray locked in place when not in use. In a crowded work area, it is important to be able to secure the pull out keyboard in closed position to reduce workplace accident.

Hardware Included

DR4-TB-BK2 included all necessary brackets including two front rackmount brackets, (2) 5 inch adjustable brackets (2) 17 inch rear brackets, and mounting hardware screws for both 2 post relay rack and 4 post server rack up to 30 inch deep installation.

Build for serviceability

Our keyboard unit is replaceable. It is built with serviceability in mind. By removing couple screws at both front and bottom side, you can remove the keyboard cover panel to replace keyboard or upgrade keyboard. DR4 rackmount keyboard works with KB82D-USB Trackball KB,   Cherry G84-4400 USB and Cherry 84-4400 PS2 Trackball Keyboard.
