What is a CM-BRACKET2?

CM-BRACKET2 offers additional rear support for 2U or 4U rackmount system in a 4 Post cabinet installation. In a typical 2U or 4U server or network equipment installation, you will need a pairs of front mount brackets as well as a pair of rear mount brackets to properly support your 1U rackmount equipment or rack servers. If your 2U or 4U rackmount equipment does not come with a rear mount bracket or your rear mount bracket is not long enough to reach rear of your rack cabinet, your rack equipment is not properly supported. This can lead to deformed front bracket or even damage to your rack equipment due to vibration. Our CM-BRACKET2 might be able to help you to safe guard your rack equipment.
CM-BRACKET2 comes in two parts. The main structure bar and a L bracket attachment. The main structure bar acts like a rail guide for the L Bracket bar. You can pre install the main structure bar and L bracket bar first then readjust it after installation. Some of the rear mount bracket requires you to open the side panel of your cabinet in order to make the depth adjustment. Our CM-BRACKET2 does not require you to open the side pane of your rack enclosure. You have access to the adjustment screw from rear side of your cabinet.
CM-BRACKET2 is also a good alternative solution for sliding rail. Sliding rail is great for accessing equipment inside an enclosure. If you don’t need to move your equipment or just need a simple and safe way to secure your rackmount equipment, our CM-BRACKET2 is this one you need
